Samantha Hlambelo is a coach and mentor, with experience in excess of 20 years in pharmacy practice, 15 years of postgraduate education delivery and 10 years of leadership in the public and charitable sectors.
With a background in management and leadership, alongside clinical practice and healthcare professional training, Samantha works with clients amidst limited resources, changing organisational landscapes and stressful conditions to develop their leadership style, cultivate their teams, create business plans and increase efficiency. Samantha has a strong background in learning and development, with expertise in design, delivery and evaluation of face-to-face and online training programmes.
Samantha has trained over 3000 students, trainees and professionals. She is a warm and eloquent speaker having delivered learning events to audiences from 25 to 250 attendees. Samantha also helps her clients with speaking engagements, including to design and confidently deliver training events, presentations and workshops. She is particularly interested in helping clients to utilise their strengths and maintain a strong self-belief.
Committed to working in partnership, Samantha has collaborated with hospital staff, Pharmacy regulatory, professional leadership bodies and government organisations such as the GPhC, Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Department of Health in relation to pre-registration training issues. She has influenced projects and changes to standards of education, training and developed practice.
Samantha has worked at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London Pharmacy Education & Training and Health Education England. She has a BPharm degree, Certificate in Pharmacy Practice, Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, Certificate in Training Practice and is an accredited Coaching Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
