Executive coach

Denise is an experienced C-level executive, and certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a member of the coaching and facilitation team with CoachAdviser. She supports organizational leaders to build and sustain healthy cultures, engage in greater collaboration and teamwork, and develop business strategy.

 

Denise has worked in several industries including professional service firms (law firms, insurance companies, accounting firms), healthcare/behavioral health and non-profit organizations. She draws on this extensive experience to support professionals in growing their skills, reaching new levels of work and personal performance. Denise works with professionals to support them in identifying and developing the skills they need for the current and next seasons of their careers.

 

Prior to her work as an executive coach, Denise served as the Chief Operating Officer for a large, regional law firm in the Pacific Northwest, Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt. She worked as a law firm COO for over 12 years and before that was the Director of Operations for a large, multi-county behavioral health organization in rural North Carolina.

 

Denise holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Educational Psychology with a concentration in collaboration, communication, culture, and dialogue. She has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University, and a B.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness from Ball State University.
