Dave Lozano

Executive coach

Dave Lozano is a trained executive coach with extensive professional experience. With over 25 years of leadership experience in high-stress situations, he relates easily to leaders working in complex, pressurized environments. From serving in combat as a Green Beret officer (U.S. Army Special Forces), to leading operations in the kidnap-for-ransom division of a global crisis management company, to managing the largest accounts at a billion-dollar tech company, Dave has a wealth of experience from which to draw upon. He has also served on the leadership teams of both bootstrapped and private equity backed ventures. This has resonated with senior leaders he has coached from the tech, pharmaceutical, consulting, and finance sectors.

After serving 10 years in the military and 10 years in the corporate world, Dave took a yearlong sabbatical to clear his mind and fulfill a dream of working as a professional skydiving instructor and becoming a commercial pilot. While teaching students to skydive, Dave realized that what he loved most (besides jumping out of planes) was helping inspire people to discover and create a fulfilling life and career. This became the basis for his executive coaching practice, with the goal of enabling his clients to realize their own professional and personal ambitions.

Dave has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The U.S. Military Academy (West Point), and an MBA from Duke University. He is completing his official ACTP executive coaching course and is a member of the coaching and facilitation team in North America with CoachAdviser.
